HT ? about 163 GPH
« on: July 28, 2004, 02:48:09 PM »
as i understand it 163 uses rocket motor , which means it
carries its own  fuel/oxidizer.   does it use air from outside
to mix in fuel?

depending on where u set the throttle, the GPH should be constant for the throttle setting no matter the Alt or speed.
I noticed today, as my speed increase my GPH went way down
even though my throttle setting remained same.

shouldnt GPH stay same unless throttle changed? i dropped as much as 3000 GPH  burned with speed.

I thought the same Whels.
163 was basically light it up and away it went. No cutting engine etc. Once it was lit it kept on going till the fuel ran out.

i think because when the tanks are full, it gets more pressure so more GPH...when the tanks are getting empty the GPH goes down....
