Well i've decided that wingman digital extreme 3d's are crap.  And they stopped making my beloved MS Precision pro 2.  So i figured i'd ask before i fork out my money :)

You can still get a Precision Pro 2 on amazon.com or ebay(amazon more likely). Last I checked, new in the box was around $50. Up to you if that's a good price or not for a stick no longer made.

Saitek Cyborg Evolution is a good stick alternative if you want a warranty.
Heard about the Thrustmaster twisty sticks(Thrustmaster Fox 2 Pro might be the best in their lineup), never tried them though. I can only vouch for Saitek.

I don't have that problem with my current stick, a saitek cyborg 3d gold, 3 years old. Maybe I got lucky, who knows, as with everything else YMMV.

Yucca, what went wrong with your Logitechs?  I've had two (current the Extreme 3D Pro) and prefer them to any others.

Well i did play alot when i used em.  But i found that the hat switches got soft easily, i found problems such as the rudder would spike the roll or pitch axis and so would the throttle.  A overall pain in the butt :P

I got my spare Prec 2 (usb) on ebay for 28 $ including shipping.

New ones (unopened) will run 50 - 60.

Mine had been opened, but the software/book was still in the original wrapper, cord still tied from the factory, etc.
