I hear you can run flat panels at higher refresh rates and they are very easy on the eyes.  Dont know though, because i havent even seen one yet lol.  Soon as i get more money i gotta get a gig of ddr2 sdram at 530MHz and a diff vid card.

I got a flat panel with mine Yucca.  I disagree with it being easier on the eyes, it burns mine more than my old CRT one.  Now, yes it does give higher refresh rates.  I average 90-100fps with a Geforce FX5200 128mb.  I doubt that youll be unimpressed though.

Hehe, I ran a 700P3 with a 16MB video card for 3 years.

Anton, I was out for a month or so, and from what I can tell you dont need to change your flying much at all.  It just takes a few days to get back into the feel of things.  Not a hard transaction at all IMHO
