MA becoming too much like an arcade room

Exactly, i did't find it any more challenging.

I hardly ever fly in the CT but because BoB  scenario is coming up on sun i thought i would give it a go.  When i got my stick problems sorted and got into a fight i shotdown 5 cons, rtbed without a scratch including two 1v2's which i won.

Ok i was flying a hurri 1 which easily out-turns the 109 but i spent most of the flight getting bnzed by 109s.

It's not like the CT is a secret.  If that is what the people wanted, that is where they would be.

funny how spit/nik/pony/p-38/la-7/'dweeb plane' pilots always seem to call the other planes in this set the dweebs and leave out their own choice.

there are no dweeb planes, only dweeb pilots and dweebs who call others dweebs cos they killed them

mak btw and say hello to Iman and art for me, mate.

I say keep the dweeb planes as is.  If people don't want to grow then let them fly the dweeb planes.  Then you will always be a better pilot then them.

OK it's the players dime and you will loose if you try and force your will on the masses.  Although I see your point about the laffers and nik stuff and there could be an alternative  along the lines that AirWarrior used.  Air Warrior had multiple arenas and AH could do the same but just add each arena for a certain planeset for different periods of the war.   I wouldn't look for any large numbers in the majority of the arenas but it would satisfy those who want to fly early planes and those that want to point potato could still do so in the larger arenas.  It would relieve some of the stress on the main arena also.

It's just a thought...

You know... funny thing is...  this IS indeed a game.  Its not anyone's fault that you can't get the better of an la7/n1k/spit9/pony in your ride but your own.  There are many pilots in this game, and there are a certain group which are amazing at what they do.  Most of them stick to their own rides, but I've seen them grab planes like 38s/109g2/f6f5/f4f/spitv/la5, and seriously tear apart late war "uber" planes.

The plane can make the difference, but trying to anticipate the opponents move makes the most difference.

I don't know if you were upset when you started this post, but instead of getting mad about seeing the same types of enemies, learn how to beat those rides, then be happy that you see them in the air because most of the time you will own them.

BTW, I think the MA is great, massive online multiplayer games are awesome, and I'll take a MA population of 500 over a CT population of 40 anyday.  :aok

Hey ... that's great. We won't look for you there. I figured out I pay for both and can fly in either whenever I feel like. If the CT is empty or I feel like flying a hog and there's no hog there, I'll go to the MA. If I'm tired of hanging out in the fantasy arena (or maybe the "more fantastic" arena ... depending on pov), I'll go immerse in the CT.  I've tried to enlighten. I'll still hold the torch. We got another hooked the other night. :D
