Lets have a bet....
« on: July 30, 2004, 06:24:04 PM »
Okay since I'm seeing a few posts that are predicting Bush or Kerry winning this november, you care to back it up?

This is what I propose:

Those that say Kerry will win but if he loses, you have to put in your sig that 'Bush was the best president. EVAR!'

Those that say Bush will win but if he loses, you have to put in your sig that 'Clinton was the best president. EVAR!'

The sigs have to stay in place for the full four years from Nov 2004 to Nov 2008.

If you change your ID, you need to put the sig on your new ID as well.

So how confident are you really? Are you man enough to back up your prediction and confidence in the outcome of the vote?

Step forward. Back up your prediction. We need a relatively equal group from both sides. Count me in the Kerry camp if there are any in the Bush camp brave enough to step forward.

Count me in the "couldn't care less" group.  Mickey Mouse probably isn't going to win, and I don't wanna have to put anything about Bush & Kerry in my sig for the next four years.

DAMNIT!  Well hell, I concede defeat now.  I can't guarantee I'll keep it in my sig for four years though. :D

Hehe.:D
This is now the chance for for you Bush supporters to see all the Bush "haters" have to have the 'Bush is the greatest president. EVAR!' line in their Sig!
Can you imagine the possibilities!? C'mon, step up. Do it for the cause!
I actually think Bush will win. He's the standing president, and we're at war. Big points in his favor.
Where are all the manly men? They go girly on us?
Step up, show your true colors!

Because we all post here. So I take it you're not confident that Bush will win? Cmon, show your support! Vote Bush! Vote Kerry!
Any takers?

What kind of girly, defeatest attitude is this anyway!!?? You don't have confidence that your man is gonna win? If he does lose, you don't have a sence of humor to have that sig? SOB, you of all people here I'd expect to join in. You've got the greatest sence of humor. Cmon, for fun. I'm doing it.

What if we have no idea who will win, and do not like either?

Obviously you don't have to bet ;)

I want to see the Bush IS gonna win, Kerry IS gonna win crowd join this bet. Quite easy to make predictions. I want to see those with conviction back it up. this is gonna be fun. Half of us will get razzed for 4 years. C'mon, pick a side and join up. Remember it's who you think will win. If you're right, you'll win. This way you'll not have to put anything in your sig. The loser does.

LOL, it's not like we're gonna lose are manhood over this. C'mon, step up. Lazs, Rip, Nuke, Eagler, MT, Sandy, Nash, Thrawn? Where are you guys? Join the fun :)

You've limited my choices to Kerry or Bush, and I won't vote for either of 'em.  Right now, Mickey is the front runner, but when I start to actually look at the others he might fall behind.  Whoever I choose, I already know he won't be the winner. ;)
