Ok, mom wants art for our Animal Rehabilitation/Rescue thing.

Name of the 'buisness', is Mother Natures Helping Hands.

Here is the art I started with.

I then cut the hand out, and created one, then instead of loading one hand up I'll just post the 3rd thing I did, I then flipped it. So now there are two hands.

I then tried to touch it up and add an animal to it and such...
Played aroudn with shading and created a shaded dove by hand, just for the look, and rough draft.

I then decided, thats not what I want, I want cupped hands, Like allstate, so I cut the hands out and rotated them, then overlaped, and colored in some of it so it looks like it's one image and not two.

And thats as far as I've gotten, and boy, it's a tough process using, Adobe PhotoStudio.

This is my first major, actual art project, others are just coloring, and text stuff, and copy and pasting, let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Hawklore

:aok

Just realized I need to work on some shading with the finger.

Another problem is that the fingers are overlaped opposite of the palms.. Optical Illusion!

Good stuff.

Yer shooting yourself in the foot though by starting with such a low-res image. I brought it into Photoshop to see if anything could be done... but it's way too far gone.

Nobody will be able to use this for anything.

You want to be aiming for 250 dpi. There's tons of palm images out there with a high enough res... So instead of putting all this time creating stuff that can't be used, I'd do some more digging.

I have a URL to royalty free stock images at work. You'll find an image that will work and you won't have to copy/flip the hands.

Monday is a holiday, so I'll get that to you on Tuesday.

But if you have access to a digital camera...

I could take my own picture and post it for the FDB's?
