Anyone figured out how to get Firebird to work with sites like this?

http://us.rd.yahoo.com/launch/search/all/top/videos/*http://launch.yahoo.com/artist/videos.asp?artistID=1017874

Any special plug-ins or whatever you can use?

I like the browser... just doesn't work on enough sites for me.

Firefox Browser ?   , It's a small download and  installs with out any trouble.
Works great, faster than MS IE .
and alot safer .

Quig , you need to read the simple install instructions  for Mozilla Firefox , you can not install one over the other !

Love Firefox.
So far no probs whatsoever.
Only a very small handful of sites that wouldnt support it and none of those were of any kind of importance to me.

Talk about POS?
That would be IE

firefox ok .. but i hate how for this BBS the "text bar" for entering my message is only 1/4 screen width. this message would be 10+ lines of text by now. cant figure out how to change it.

other "bugs" made me give up on it.
I don't know what to put here yet.

Netscape has never been installed on this system.

{edit}Or do you mean that I can't have any other browser installed but Firefox? No better that Firefox works at some sites I visit, I can't justify deleting IE. {/edit}

I use Mozilla and the email prog that came with it.  Latest version.

Imported everything from IE and OE no problem.  Program asked, I answered yes, and then it did it upon install

Blocks popups! Browseing is nice and everthing looks normal.  Can get at favs real ez using F9 key or close em off for full screen same key.  It actually seems to have more bells and whistle then IE???  Downloaded something that gave me access to everything in Mozilla.

Very user configurable!!!!!

Set the email to avoid javascript stuff so doesn't look as pretty with the incoming emails, but my system is safer.  Emails that I label spam go straight to a junk folder and never even get opened before deleting.

Set it to ask me for pretty near everything, got tired of all the trojans, spyware, etc..  that kept getting through with IE.

Seems abit faster then IE too.

Don't think i'll ever gop back to IE or OE.

BTW had no trouble with that site listed above.

It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.

Does FireFox support page history inheritance yet ?

Last I checked:

To annoying everytime I open a new page it starts with default homepage instead of making a new copy including everything.

And some pages didn't work and I had to revert to IE.

Firefox kicks ass.  Fast and no spyware.  If a site doesn't work, pull up ie...but I find that to be a rare occurrence.

Try the Opera browser and Mailwasher for pre filtering of mail.
Keeps my machine running, now on the 5th year without reinstalling windows!!!
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)
