Mozilla's Firefox

Any good?

Is it worth downloading and using?

Dad says it's safer, and faster, well it is faster, but it dosn't have all the options IE uses, but I dunno how many of the IE things I acutally use that FireFox dosn't.

ATM, I tried installing to to try it out, but when I try to Import from IE it creates a runtime error. Terminates it's self basicly.

Any help would be appreciated, dunno why, I just have a funny feeling about Mozilla and always have..

It's a POS.

I can't import ***** from IE, and the only things I can import are favorites and internet options, which are things I don't really need..

It's still in development so you can't expect too much of it. The current version is alot better than the last. I haven't had much problem with it. What are you trying to import?

Links mainly, but I just want it to import everything for me..

I don't mind change, but having to transfer every little thing by hand is a pain.. and atm, I'm kinda pissed at it.

Even tried an older version to import but those can't import..

I got Windows XP and IE 6

I use it when I might be surfing some shady sights......one thing I hate about it is half the plug ins dont work for it....the other half you have to download all over again.

and i have to rightclick and click on new window or tab just to open up a link, annoying as hell...if they fixed the IE security holes, made the google toolbar standard and threw in a dictionary/thesaurus IE would blow firefox out of the water...

I switched to Firefox because I kept getting infected with spyware using IE.

I've got used to using mouse gestures, the bugmenot plugin etc, and I wouldn't switch back now even if IE was made secure.

Didn't have any problems importing IE favourites on either of my pcs, don't get any problems of web pages not displaying correctly,  and left clicks work fine.

I haven't noticed it being any faster than IE, though.

I've been using it as my primary browser for about a year.  It's by far the best browser out there.

I've never had a problem with any of the extensions.  I use:

Tab Warning, Dictionary search, text links, IE view, and google.

There should be an "import" option on the file menu.
