When used in conjunction with copyrighted works that can only legally be purchased in a box or through retail channels, no it isn't LePaul. And you should know better, running a BB as you do.

See my last post in the locked thread, breif but to the point. Seriously guys, it is easy to steal other people's work but that is wrong. Software developers spend ungodly ammounts of time creating these games for us. Sure they do it for profit but I say we profit from their work as much or more than many of them do. I have bought an untold number of titles that I was already able to use via "other" means. I did it and continue to do it to support these people and encourage them to do it again. I have bought every flight sim ever released, many of which I never installed because I want flight-sim developers to become rich and make more of them.

Do NOT steal software, please!

Got Doom3 yesterday.

It looks cool even on lower res and the gameplay doesn't suck.

I played for about 3 hours total and haven't died yet (came close when the big dog creature came after me) so it's not real hard yet.

My son was watching me play and it was scaring the watermelon out of him.

I let him take it up to his computer but after he installed it he brought it back. He said there was no way in hell he was going to play that game at night in the dark alone.

Actually... Tell EVERYONE you downloaded the latest version of "Aces High", the greatest flight sim ever, off the net for free!

Im only about 3 levels into it, died once since I was not quicksaving when I could and let my health get too low. But I am starting to wonder if I should have pre-ordered it and all. It is not as good as the orginal yet, but I'm still hopefull.

The best way I could describe it at this point is to call it a "top-notch flashlight
simulation."

I mean c'mon, here we are, interplanetary travel, permanent bases (although the one I am on is not looking all that permanent right now) on Mars and the cutting edge of scientific discovery in the 22nd century. Yet they seem to have uninvented duct-tape!

Flashlight mounts are standard issue for many police and military arms today (there's even some home owners who have them on their firearms but I'm not naming names here) yet here I am with my choice of flashlight or firearm. I can see what is shooting me very well with the light, or I can return fire and guess where the monster is in the dark...BUT NOT BOTH! Sheesh, I'm only on the 3rd level and its already pissing me off.
