I have been pretty much standing on the sidelines not making any comments on the CT as of late. This is getting frickin rediculous with all the picking on each other. I mean we are all grown adults that come here, like your local watering hole. We as a community need to change, each one of us, for this arena to stay alive. I don't see why HTC will just say that CT is to much a pain and close it down. I would one miss it, even tho as of late I haven't been spending much time in it. I have made a lot of good friends in it on both sides.
This thing that goes on the BBS with us just cutting each other down because of the opinions we have on the CT is not helping at all... Actions speak louder than words. We need to start taking action on this, make it a more enjoyable enviroment for everyone not just the regulars if you want people to start flying it, right now it doesn't seem that way. I do agree we need someone that flys the CT with considerable hours to monitor it, for things that go wrong, also for the bad apples that pop in from time to time. We need a little more organiztion with it. Now I am not saying that the current CT staff isn't doing what they can with what they have, I do understand that people have lives and we need to live them, but on the other hand we need someone in the arena that can take control, whomever that may be.
Bug... I know you have the best intentions for the CT... but I think you need to bring it down a notch... I consider you a friend... but you can catch more flys with honey than vinegar. Just because your not a CT CM doesn't mean you can't help the Staff out with things that they need help. The CT Ambassador is a good idea... help new guys get familar with the arena... or even get a couple of guys on a rotation doing this. Please don't take this as a dig... I don't mean it that way.
I think we all need to just cool our jets and do what we all pay our 15 bucks for is to have an enjoyable arena. We need to start working together on every aspect of the CT to get it work the way we want it to... if we want it to survive...
