8 Player H2H Question

Will this be limited to the 8 human players in the game or is there going to be AI implemented for this feature?
Also where will this be played? direct IP or Kali IPX?

It will be human opponents.  The 8 player function will allow you to host the arena on your own computer.  When you go into the 8 player menu, you'll get a list of all the hosts that are available to join.  If you've ever played multiplayer Halflife, it'll be similar to that.

Will the host have to be playing the game, or will it be more of a pure server setup?  If so, will a host playing the game affect the connect at all?

Well if it's anything like the Halflife setup
hosting really shouldn't slow you down much.
Esp if it's on a decent machine.


Add in being able to set up the host to suit yourself, (evil gleem comes across Ghostt's Eye) Can you say Axis Vs Allied?
Or 4vs4 squad manuvers?
or even 2x4 wingman training?

OH MY GOD!!

What perfect timing!  Our squad is having a MAJOR Lan party next weekend and we have been wondering if something like this was going to be possible.  We thought we were gonna have to settle for Janes F/A 18 and Falcon 4.0 (ugh jet sims).  Now Crash, Nuttz and I can show everyone why we love AH so much!
