Hortlund like it or not but Mondeo is 100% European car, if you want a US Ford you better sell that mondeo away and buy yourself a Mustang; it's about only US Ford which is sold in Scandinavia.

Yeah, it would be the Contour here.

Except I don't think we get the wagon in the US, everyone here thinks they need jacked up motor home instead.

So, you'd check the "pre-op" box, then?

Learn your cars!

It's a Focus in the USA.  Looks like an '05 Focus to be exact.  The '05 has a distinctive front end compared to earlier models of Focus.

The "Contour" name is no longer used in the USA and hasn't been for several years now.   Furthermore, no vehicle ever sold in the US under the "Contour" name ever had a wagon option.

The Mondeo is a Contour.. it's a little bit larger and has a new wagon option.  We don't get to play with it.. or the Taurus much longer, although neither were worth a grain of salt unless they were SVT for the Contour or SHO's for the 89-95 Taurus.

There's small difference between Focus and Mondeo, about 30cm and 5k$

You can compare both models easily in Here.

Because you get to pay 15% extra just for the name.

Anyway, Im not rich enough yet to buy me one of the newest model volvos, so I figured better to get a good Ford than a semi-good volvo.
