Friendly consolidation of the new "rules"
« on: August 04, 2004, 03:35:45 PM »
Besides the main ideas listed by HiTech:
Quote
To see what happens, am considering locking all in threads in the General Discussion ,for a week if any of the following apear.

1. Any flame of some ones post, not a counter discusion, but a flame. Also flame baits.

2. Any personal attacks.

3. A whine, not a suggest ,critisim or view, but the over the top stuff.
Then second idea came late in thread 3 or 4:
Quote
Thinking of amending rules to thread stealing.
Then in thread 6 i believe this idea came to pass:
Quote
Im seeing the need for 2 ammendments.

4. Anyone who in my view is perposly posting to close a thread will be band for the duration of the expermint.

5. If a thread is locked, any flaming of the person who caused the thread to be locked will also be banned. I.E. If a thread gets locked, let it go and if you want to continue the thread topic discusion just start a new thread.

This is just a friendly advisory to those who might have missed the whole list of HiTech's thoughts about the general discussion forum.

I don't know what to put here yet.

IMHO, there should be..

No profanity (text pics etc.)
No personal attacks
No injudicious sucking up, groupy type behavior, following EACH and EVERY post by an HTC employee :D
