Just uploaded my latest skin to AH Skins. It is a Fleet Air Arm Wildcat Mk VI (FM-2) of 882 Squadron, based on HMS Searcher.

I have a Hercules Radeon 9800 Pro video card, this lets me run the game in 1600x1200 at a good framerate.

I may do an Avenger when they update the art, but right now it has mirroring issues. In particular the tailplane has to be the same colour top and bottom. This means the only scheme that can be done accurately on it is the late war USN monotone one. Most of the F4Us and the F6F have the same problem. Krusty's already got the 110 nicely covered.

I plan on doing one or two more FM-2 skins and a template. After that I may do some A20 skins. There's quite a few skinning possibilites for the DB-7/Havoc/Boston series. You can do French, British, American, Soviet and Australian variants in a number of different schemes. At first glance it seems like there shouldn't be many issues WRT bugs or mirroring either.

Looking very promising rogerdee, once it is weathered they ought to look fantastic.

My suggestions would be to make the gun and engine hatches, wingfold lines etc. show up more than the other panel lines. You can do this by creating a copy of the panel line layer, erasing the lesser lines from it and placing the remaining lines exactly over the original layer. Maybe fade the original panel line layer a bit to tone it down and add some rivets.

I'd suggest adding a shadow behind the cowl flaps to give it a 3d look.

The white bit on the fin flash should be narrower on the FAA version. The fuselage roundel looks a touch too big too. Also the squadron letters seem over large to me but I haven't got a picture of this particular plane to check.

You do VERY impressive FM-2s Greebo.

Sea Fury is post war.

British carrier planes I'd like to see are the Firefly and Seafire Mk III.

Karnak is right, I've never seen Greebo come out with a skin that was less than outstanding! :D
