Obscure Commodore 64 Game of the Day....
« on: August 05, 2004, 07:36:22 AM »
Some terrific games from what was a wonderful gaming system have simply been forgotten over the years.

It seems the bulk of the games released today are either:

1) First Person Shooter
2) Sports
3) First Person Shooter in a Sporting Arena.

One of the simplest and yet most fun games I played on C64 was a game called M.U.L.E.

Anyone else remember this one?

nope...

but it seems that a good deal of the game shelf also includes strategy games (real time and turn based), simulators (from flight sims, to company sims, to people sims), and role playing games.  You haven't forgotten those have you?

Mig Alley Ace. Split screen head to head dogfighting. Buddy used to wonder how I always knew when to go evasive.

What was the one that had "Jimbo-baby" McGibbits... you had to fly a helicopter, then sneak around the bad-guy's laboratory?

Gunship, F-19 Stealth... great games. :)
