Well...Here's how I did it. First, my Wingman Extreme 3d is plugged into the USB port. However, if you have a Y-cable I'm guess it would work with both being plugged into the gameport. Also, if you use a PDPI card you might be able to plug stick into port 1 and throttle into port 2 and get it to work. Anyway, here's how I did it.
1) Extremem 3d plugged into USB port and set up in the joystick applet as device #1.
2) CH Pro Throttle plugged into SB Live gameport and selected it as device #2 in the joystick applet. NOTE: To make Win98 recognize the throttle I had to plug an old stick into the throttle.
In my case I plugged my old original Sidewinder 3d into the throttle. Then I set it to work like a CH Combatstick. Then in the applet I chose "CH Combatstick" and calibrated everything, including the Pro Throttle.
Then in the AH setup screen under "joystick" I allowed everything to be used by the Extreme 3d...with the exception of the throttle. I selected "throttle" and then "mapped" it to joystcik number 2 (CH Combatstick). All works great offline. Can't wait to get online.
