Or, perhaps,  the way institutional Bishops approach the game is repugnant and morally reprehensable to most thinking people? ;)

It's not retarded for those who have been playing with the same group of people for a decade, cultivating friendships, comraderies and a deep and profound respectfull repore.

And if that same group of people, including yourself, were switched to another chess piece... you would remain loyal to the original chess piece?

Ah, ya snuck that edit in there.

Anyway, you understand my point.  A chess piece is just a label.  The only things I care about are squaddies and others I enjoy(ed) flying with.

That's a good idea except for one serious flaw. The ratio of Bishop children to Knight baby-sitters would be greater than the state mandated maximum ratio. I'm afraid child services would be called in and all those poor Bishops kiddes would be hauled off en masse to orphanages.

Octavius, it was only an arbitrary label in beta 1. Now at Tour 55, like it or not, each country has a developed a 'culture' based on it's institutional members and their respective behaviors, actions, and overall approach to the game. There is a difference in 'group methodology' between the teams. Those that have been playing a while have been attracted to and remain with the team that has a methodology that most closely resembles their own personal approach...

I've flown for all 3... choose to stay rooks, along with my squad.  Those #'s are bad for furballs though... Bish need a kickstart.  Used to have some pretty good bish missions when I was over there.  Rocstar, Hap, and Waffle were 3 guys who could really organize a mission.  Good luck bish, maybe get together for a JSO??
