I'm fixing to leave flat featureless Florida sometime soon. I've been thinking about N or NW georgia. My company has stores in Rome, Cartersville and East Ellijay.
Anyone from around there? I have a friend that lives near rome, so 'm considering moving that way. But I'd like input on the Cartersville area as well.
I'm looking for a small town, where houses are cheap (I don't make much $$$) thats pretty close to the mountains. I like outdoorsy stuff like camping, hiking, hunting etc...
Any advice from the locals?
