Think the Ju52 needs very short runway though.
And, as pointed out, was equipped witn a gun

Other options would be the russian equivalent of the C-47, also armed, or the Curtiss Commando which was faster.
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Speed is very important in the MA when trying to keep a base capped. With that in mind, the Ju-52 would be a hanger queen if introduced to AH2. And one little 7.92mm MG is next to useless for defending such a wallowing cow.

Does anyone have good specs on the Commando?
Faster and very much faster climbing, at least with only 10 troops.
Or maybe it would make sence introducing something with 20 troops. Perked to some few points perhaps ;)
