I thought so too, but then I did in fact collide with a fighter the other day. The first and only time I have done so in AH2. I went right up his wazoo. I saw some posted pics in another thread, I think collisions with bombers may be bugged, at least that was HiTech's response to those pics. Part of the issue lies in the fact  that there is no hit bubble anymore. You actually have to touch the the other plane, not just come close. In Ah1, often, a near miss would become a collision due to the hit bubble.

They weren't off earlier, but I've gotten into situations where I know it would have been a ram in AH1 but it wasn't in Ah2.  But I have rammed people, so I know it is on still somehow.

I flew through the face of a fighter twice in the CT the other night. I'm talking a blatant HO, our guns blazing, punching the other pilot in the kisser as the cockpits merge (pilot on the other end of it swore I went under him, though). Shameless and all. Collisions modeled was my reason for never bothering to ho-whine in AH.

Yea, I've gone head-on with people and looked like I was gonna ram em, but didn't.  There was a big thread in gameplay about it I think.

i ran out of ammo a lot last tour, I tried ramming a lot of people, ended up going straight through them. Collisions are definately off, I can guarantee that.

Maybe BOTH front ends have to agree it's a collision now? Combine that with no hit bubbles.

Hit resolution is not quite the right term. I guess target resolution would be a more accurate description. In AH1, there was a granularity to it which you don't have in AH2.
