Country colors

Ok gang I have a newbie dweeb question.   When the Rooks and Knights fight each other do both countries have red icons?   To me that would be confusing having to look for the horse head or castle symbol.    Wouldn't it be easier if there were three seperate colors to symbolize each country?

I have been at bases where both countries are hitting us and all I see are red icons so I just line up on whoever is in range and let fly.

If all countries had different colors you would hear alot more complaints about gangbanging.  Just shoot at the red ones, they are all bad guys.

all us old Air Warrior folk used to have a 3-color system.  i prefer seeing a different color for each country.  it makes the map a lot easier to figure out with just a quick glance.

we've asked for it...still don't have it.   :(

As I have said before, I would prefer plane and gv enemy icons be red for both enemy countries, but the enemy bases should be two different colors for ease of ID at a quick glance of the map.

Us old AW players.. I am one... I am not part of the us you are talking about...

In my world bad is red, and thats just fine... If you're red I don't really give two shakes who you are.. I know I need to bust a cap in your six... thats all.

Yea, I can live with that...colored bases rather than icons.  Good idea.

I tried to delete this thread because I thought how dumb it really is after all.    Was just curious about the icon colors.     Anyhow thanks for some of the posts because they do make sense.

Yeah Kurt I subscribe to the same thoughts of if its red its dead theory.

SEGunner, HT did seperate colors for Warbirds. The fact that he did Aces High differently means he had a reason to do so.

One thing i've found about HT. He ALWAYS has the think box on. He never does something because he feels like it, or he just doesn't care.  He's thought EVERYTHING out before he impliements it.

And like a good chess player, yes he's at least 8 moves ahead of most of us.
