the big 4 engine russian bomber in FB AEP

Can't recall its name, the one with fixed landing gear, open cockpit and multiple gun positions.
I was shooting at my own wings and control surfaces from various gunner positions, just to see how long the plane will keep flying. Eventually we entered a flat spin and I couldn't recover from it. The plane fell and fell, spinning like a leaf, then settled on the ground, breaking only its landing gear in the process. The rest appeared intact!!! I bailed out my pilot while the plane was on the ground, then a fire started and finally the plane exploded, just like you would think it was supposed to do on impact.
Now here's the question: That aircraft has huge wings. It's easy to picture it falling out of the sky slowly, spinning like a sycamore seed or a falling leaf.
Is this a fluke of the FB flight model, or did this event ever occur in real life to an aircraft of similar size?

The FB flightmodel is pretty bad when it comes to stalls and spins. Hard to tell if it's possible in real life, probably there would be more damage. Another thing that bothers me in FB and AH2 ditching models is that they dont model any small objects like rocks, which will break up your plane IRL if you ditch on ground. In both games you can hit the ground at slow descent rate with a lot of speed and slide for half a mile before coming to a stop relatively intact.
