This is a post about Roger Wilco. Hence Title. All references to Roger Wilco will be in the text of RW.

I have RW. I want to use RW.  I fly Knights at night.

Please if you too want to use RW and you fly for the Knights at night lets try to get a bunch connected on RW.

Oh! The reason for this post.  I got my bellybutton full of lead the other night as I was typing a smart-assed remark.  Now I want to be a smart-ass without having that type-while-fly worry. Cool!

RW good buddy !  I'm posting here in hopes that someone has successfully gotten RW to work with a SB PCI128.  I get sent to WWW.failedtest.com  (or something like that) when I do the mike test.  Followed all the suggestions to no avail.

 Swager,JG2 will have a RW base station in the near future,just have to figure out some LAN bugs and it will be up.

Tweety, I use a SB pci128 with no problem.
1 thing you might check do you have the latest drivers from SB for it??
also check there are no shared irq's

KaptKaos and I always use RW in AH. It is sooo much easier to talk instead of type - and more effective. You can call six in an instant *while* you are positioning for a kill as opposed to fumbling around looking for keys.

A couple of things - it seems we have to start RW *before* AH or else the sound doesn't work right. But once we are in the arena, Alt-Tab lets us tune up and connect.

Also, if you get lots of people on a channel it gets real important not to chatter as people talking over each other really drops its effectiveness.

But if you aren't flying with RW and are flying Rook or Bish - you are just that much easier a target for moi!

Using RW in AH has caused some of my keys not to work.  Apparently I must initialize RW first.  I'll give it a try tonite.  Thanks!

Wow!!!  This RW is GREAT!!!  

0005 & Fatty (flyin' for Bishops) were kind enough to include me in their RW session.  This was my first time, much better than typing and really adds to the sim.

They were also kind enough to gently instruct this newbie/rookie, which RW is also great for.
