I'm afraid your system will be borderline on the minimum specs for AH II.

Sounds like your CPU and graphics card are at the low end of the scale for min. requirements to play.  You need to upgrade your video card, even then, I'm not sure your processor  is capable.

Aww MAN, I had one of those.  Best little computer I've ever had.  :D And then I installed a water cooling system wrong and the prossesor melted the motherboard to the case. Oops. Well, that was before AH.

Anyway, the minimum requirements are bull, so don't listen to em.

Don;t always rely on what any game company suggests as the minimum specs.  Iv'e found that the Minimum means that it will
load up.  I am running a Athlon 1800 and Radeon 9600 128MB card, and 1.5 Gig internal memory, and I classify my system
as "barely functional" for this game.  I average (in far view- F1)
around 27 F.P.S. and in short view, F3, about 50 F.P.S.

If you upgrade your processor, you may have a playable game. The best would be all new MOBO/CPU/Memory.
That may not be in the cards for you. Another option is a PowerLeap processor upgrade. I've done three of these in the past, and am now playing AHII with the Celron 1.4 upgrade to my old P3-600e system.
See www.powerleap.com

PL-AXP
Socket A Adaptor

The PL-AXP™ is PowerLeap’s first foray into the world of AMD Athlon upgrades. It is an economical upgrade adapter kit that allows you to upgrade older AMD Athlon/Duron-based systems to the latest AMD Athlon XP CPUs. The front side bus of the system no longer being a factor. This is accomplished by altering the multiplier while leaving the FSB the same. This method of “Right-Clocking” allows 200 MHz FSB systems to use a 400 MHz FSB based CPU and still operate at full speed. By increasing the multiplier the same overall speed can be attained..
