My father just bought one of the laptops.

I'm still not entirely sold on it...but I haven't had a chance to "play" anything yet.

They use the DDD technology:

Dynamic Digital Depth
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain

Does it work for everything? What I mean do programs need to support a certain type of software or something? Or does the monitor just make everything leap out at you? Would be fun playing Doom 3 in the dark that way. :p

Some programs work better than others.

I was chatting with Chris Yewdal (CEO of DDD) the other day and asked him about how this would work with say...Aces High.  He said the problem with on-line gaming would be the delay in processing the data from 2D to 3D which could cause Frame Rate hits and lag.  It would work...question is "how well"?

I am going to load up AH on the laptop while my father is away, if I have time.
