Two subjects:

Explosions
----------

I had one of those moments playing AH today.. the kind of moment that makes you want to play for a long long time just to recapture that feeling.

I was flying a c.205 and patrolling near f3. I saw another c.205 and followed it down. After a number of hard turns I finally got on the guys six from about 100 yds away (about 50 ft off the ground). I proceeded to lace him full of bullets from wingtip to wingtip, the result was he started smoking grey and black smoke, and fire was on the fuselage (which looked awesome btw) and in addition his prop stopped spinning.. The sight was, how can I say, totally spectacular! The plane then dipped and crashed into the ground. It looked EXACTLY like the films except a hell of a lot better.

So anyways I spent the rest of the day trying to get that same experience. I found a n1k, got on its six at about 200yds and did the same thing. It started to tear, wings ripped off (I started to drool in delight) and then BOOOOM.. I bright "pixel" coloured explosion and nothing, zilch , not even a speck..
I don't think the explosion graphics are up to par with the rest of the game. I was kind of frustrated at the explosion and kind of wished I had let up. Would it be possible to have at least remnants of the plane float back to the ground after an explosion ? Maybe just the engine, or tail or whatever? It would make explosions that more spectacular and desireable.

V1 Rockets
----------

Ok this has been mentioned on other forums long ago during the WB days, but wouldn't v1 rockets be a good way to help an outnumbered country? e.g. if the bishops only have 10 players, whereas rooks and knights each have 30 players we could have 20 (AI) V1 rockets launch from our bases (say every 15 mins or whatever). These rockets would travel to the nearest enemy base and try to hit one of the targets (ack may or may not destroy the rocket).
I just think it would be cool trying to line up on a V1 rocket that is travelling at 300Mph going straight and level
