Posting on the BBS
« on: August 14, 2004, 02:54:18 AM »
seems to me that posting subjects on the BBS is futile due to the flaming lamers who have nothing better to do than pick apart someones post. I think that we should have an option to keep the azzrazzers from posting or the forums should be better moderated. a whine is someone who crys about a HO or whatever. someone who voices an opinion on a subject not related to in game crybabies should not be met with ridicule.

if i have a problem with a game change i dont like and i KNOW others dont like....theres no point in flaming. its freakin 9 year oldish. no one asked for the flaming lamers to ruin a post ment to instagate change.

im recient posts i voiced my opiion and stated that my squad and others will suffer greatly over the change i get flak for it. i seriously dont understand why HTC allows postpilots to ruin a community/game experience by letting them poke fun and piss off someone who is already pissed off enough to ruin everybody elses experience. the door swings both ways fellas. i also have the power to ruin serious posts by known flammers. i choose not to cause i dont like it when it happens to me or my friends here.  you flamers need to take a look at yerselves. 10 years down the road when ya finally graduate school you might understand that treating a fellow man as such was maybe not the right thing to do.

im here to have a good time and as of late its not been fun. i admit i have many demons such as a severe temper that borders on psychotic episodes. but hey, back when i was in school we delt with people like you after class. here thats not an option cause most of ya outta reach :D

udder words you flaming *******es need to take a long deep look at yourself and realize that your opinion matters but your flaming only encourages more posters to be like yourselves. sure its worth a laugh but when your posting to someones thread of someone who is already upset your just asking for retaliation. i dont care to defend myself against others opinions but when ya flame ya ruin the thread. then the thread becomes a big joke causeing the poster to get that much more frustrated. its not cool and it really shows your maturity level.

please cut it out

also i think HTC should better moderate the forums to keep the lamers subdued. But i bet the HTC gods prolly get a kick out of it anyhow.

flame away as i know you freaks will. if not your opinion is welcome if it is an opinion and not a lame flame.

as for me i think im done posting on the crap until it changes so i guess when i have a prob HTC gonna get a phone call. very sad

my take on this is not many can post an intelligent opinion without trying to piss off the poster. doing childish things like posting pictures of babies, rating whines, and just generally causing havok. i thikn we can do without the posters that have nothing better to do than reply to a thread with pictures of infants and namecalling. its downright 5 year oldish. i mean if i wanted to hear this kinda crap i would visit my sons school and let the children pick me apart. when someone has a precieved serious problem and the bbs dweebs flame it to death it ruins the post for those who actually have something intelligent to say. see where im going with this?

take urchin for example. i consider that reply a flame do to the fact that it has nothing to do with what i posted at all. if i ment it to be a joke it would have had a punchline. when i post i consider it a valid subject that needs not the picking apart from the children of the boards. there is no need for this and id like to see them all squelched. if i post something like "puckhead killed me in a laffer and he is a dweeb." i would deserve flaming.  when i voice my opinions about a serious game change i expect at least some respect and for people to stick to the thread without the crap. theres no call for it and it only breeds malice.

lets take morphymouse for example. replied to a post with name calling and generally trying to pick a fight. is this productive to the thread? NO! and was he provoked  or insulted before he posted his vomit? nope...its uncalled for in imature

point is the flaming freaks of the boards should be moderated more and not be allowed to stray from the subject matter and should not be allowed to reply with posts of pictures of babies for example.

Yah, I realized you were kind of upset and deleted my post. I meant no harm by it, just stating what I saw.

Dragoon, I completely agree with you.  Way too much flaming.  It is for that very reason that I rarely post on the message board even though I read it every day.  I usually run searches to find threads that might contain information about an issue I have.  I am sure there are more individuals like me out there that feel the same as you.

I dont mean this in a smartazz way, but maybe its because you have started 5 threads in the roughly 24 hours since the new patch came out all with the same tired whine?

One thread was enough, 5 is spamming and deserves a flame.

Grits nailed here Dragoon.

Poor rookie outing, poor punctuation, no CAPS, not threatening to quit, bonus points for explecatives tho..

Overall ??

Considering your relatively new to the boards you'll see that everyone pretty much posts up a thread of interest and stays in that thread while opinions and responses are forthcoming. Some of them get quite long. But people know where to go if they want to read or contribute.

Rookies tend to post all over the boards about the same damn thing. They tend to yell alot, use caps and LOVE to give ultimatums. I'm sorry but that tends to grate on the people here.

You are pretty much doing all the things that a rookie does.

So, being you have not learned by observation how to post a thread and not sound like fingernails on a blackboard...and to do it multiple times..

Jeez think you've even cut and pasted one of your rants into another thread..

With Shane's premission..
