The HTC guys need to know what hardware we are going to use in order to set minimum hardware requirements and program accordingly. If they set requirements too high, many will no be able to play well. If too low, we will have overpriced machines and bad graphics. They are probably aware of the HW equipment we have but I have not seen explicit indication of that so far.
I saw P200 maantioned as a minimum requirement.
When the game comes out in 2000 at best, how many people willing to pay $360/year just for the access will be running 4 year old clunkers? May be quite a few. May be not that many. That is where we come in with this poll.

Please indicate your current system and the system you intend to own in February 200. One line each:
 NOW: CPU-speed,memory,graphics card,monitor
FEB: ..... (put "Same" if no plans to upgrade).
Nothing else please, to make it easily readable.

CURRENT RESULTS:
It looks like for the game coming out in February 2000 the lowest level system can be assumed to be P2-300 with 64 Megs and TNT2 card.

Thanks,
miko--

My current system is :

P200mmx
80mb ram
CL Voodoo 2 8mb
Iiyama 17 in monitor

(Going to be upgrading probably to a 650mhz Athlon, hopfully in next couple of weeks)

I'll have to say that the current P200 min req is a bit optimistic.

I only get between 11 & 20 Fps which isn't really satisfactory.

Cheers

AMD K6-2 450mhz, 128mb ram, Voodoo 3 3000 o/c to 183mhz, Mag 17", MS FFB joystick.

I'm always thinking of an upgrade.  I want my own Mustang.....oh, maybe that's a bit too much money just for flight sims...hehe
In Feb?  Probably the same.  I want to let the CPU war settle out before I upgrade.
Maybe memory will return to better prices too.
