This Tempest is quiet finished. Needs some rivets, panellines and the numbers and it's done.

Feedback is welcome.

cheers

That's cuz invasion stripes make it look like a buggy :D Love'um !!

That looks like a new style skin like the ponies. Looks great !! I want to see a new skin style when it's all weathered and rode hard and put away wet.

Keep us updated Air. Good stuff.

Very nice Messy!  :)

BTW It's 3 Sqn not 3rd Squad! ;) - The current Tempest is also 3 Sqn but it's always good to see one with invastion stripes!

How can you tell without markings?

BTW, the wing roundells seem to be too close to the leading edge to me, it may be the angle of the screenshot though, might want to check.

The Tempest in AH does have markings.

Messy, the starboard HSTAB looks a different shade of grey.

Nexx .. here are the templates i used for and a actual screenshot. It's still not finished and i have one actual question. Did the Tempest had visible RIVETS on the fuselage and wing or not? I cant see it on the template i use.

Still some work to do ....

Cheers, airmess

Hi Messy

I've sent an email with rivets/lines for the Tempest.  It's not brilliant but it might assist you with your skin.

I also have the above template for the Tempest.  However, I have another 'plate' for the same Tempest and it's slightly different.  I do prefer the one above though! :)

Doesn't the temp have cannon that protrude from the leading edge? Like the Hurc II?
