that kinda sucks actually.  2/3 of those will be coming from Germany.  This is one of the best places to get stationed at in the US military!

So many reasons I have lost count.  Main ones:
1.  Troops are for defending the US.  (per the Constitution).  Not defending everybody else.  Let the rest of the world pay for their own defense.
2.  Too expensive.  Taxes are strangling our standard of living and ability to compete in a global economy.
3.  Our political leadership (either party, they are the same under the wrestling masks) is corrupt and no longer represents the people.  Downsizing and withdrawing our military will reduce the number of people (friendly and enemy) who die needlessly because of the *******s in DC.

Well Im a pretty simple guy and when I play board games I notice one thing. The map never changes. Its just good to know we got stuff there and there. And there.
