Gaming the game has always been the part of the online experience.

It's perfectly legal for Rip to have as many accounts as his wallet allows.

It's a game feature that Citabria has the "rank" to take control of the CVs, so it's legal.

Alot of gameplay issues are cheesy, (i.e.  using the CV as a floating ackstar right off a base, ack should kill EVERYONE it hits, not just enemas). And a couple of gameplay features ruin the enjoyment for some, after all ya can't make everyone happy all the time.

I equate having separate accounts logged on to separate countries sorta like looking at a buddies cards in poker when he goes to the fridge for a beer.

I equate taking control of the CVs knowingly pissing off your countrymen to the kid that sez' these are my toys and U can't play with em.

And I equate anyone who sez they'll quit over this, to the kid in the sandbox who picks up  his toy trucks, and sez "fine then! I'll just go home!"

The only person I really feel sorry for here is Geeman, seems kinda harsh to ruin a 5 year olds enjoyment over this, why didn't ya just switch him to the same country as yours Ripsnort?

Lastly folks, git a grip, the egos in here are gettin' way outta hand.

Milenko

sorry I pissed you off. I was overeager to make you eat your own medicine because it is nasty stuff. the dose I gave you was 10 time worse than the one you gave me.

thing is rip I remember quite fondly last weekend flying an f6f covering your tbm's in a great scenario.

odd how people get so worked up over a game  :)

we were atacking 45.had base down ..next thing i knew tg31 was sailing away..looked who was controling ship...cit had control of both and sailing 31 away from battle..requested 3 times for cit to release control, never got responce..i find this unexcusable from someone ranked #2..maybe need to rethink ranking...

(hang wails) "The community is unhappy! Oh; woe; woe to the community! Our God's are Human!"

*sigh* It's ugly; unkind; unwarranted; unseemly.. all kindsa 'un's' can be applied.

DATA POINT: Spying and spies are part of the game. I could not begin to cataloge the number of times I've recieved unsolicited tactical info on what an opposing country is doing or about to do. I'd be lying thru my teeth if I said I had not acted on that info in some circumstances.. including tracking down and recapturing one of our 'missing' fleets..

DATA POINT: The various sides have been grabbing and hiding the other sides toys ever since it became possible to do so. I interpet all of the above as 'part of the game'.

DATA POINT: Some folks take this game a heluva lot more seriously than others do, and some of our players obviously need to take a vacation every once in awile, lest they begin to take themseves too seriously also.

DATA POINT: Had the FDB's pulled either the spy scam, or the resultant cross-country hop and boat snatch, we would be roundly villified here and on-line; we would have enjoyed immensely the resultant whining and bleeting cries of "foul play!!", and then gone on our merry way, finding other clever and unusual ways to go about busting virtual chops and kickin over yer virtual garbage cans, swiping yer virtual hubcaps, shootin yer virtual chutes and generally makin yer miserible too-serious virtual game lives interesting.

Frankly; my reaction to Rips intelligence coup was admiration... and my reaction to Cit's snatching of the knit boats was amazement... That took some balls.

So; we get a 'tit fer tat' goin, and as a result Cit and Rip get into a 'this 'n that' and then everybody gets horrified. A clue fer yah all... mayhaps we are overreacting to the prime incidents that set this thread in motion. A GAME gents. It's a GAME.

On the other hand.. personal attacks and wheelchair commentary are NOT what we woulda put on an FDB agenda; and I was pained and sorry to hear that that occured also. Most regrettable that part. I hope it ain't what it sounds like...

Rip.. you not very long ago pointed out that the player base could be counted on to exploit the game's features.. yah both proved that well enuff.

Lets all shake hands, shake our heads, and get on with the game, shall we?

Someone is supprised that this inbred moron would stoop to the lowest?
LOL
where the hell have they been. This idiot would hack, warp, alt-f4 and anything else he could think of to achieve success or garner attention..Whats the big deal? That he would wreck the game to do so? If he could reset the server at the touch of a button he would do so 50 times a night...

He will be cheered by some and bood by others but I am amazed to read that some would be supprised...
This is his shtick...
