X45 Issues

I had some previous problems with the rudder control and the x45 stick. I had loaded the drivers from the CD that came with the stick. These drivers cause the rudder to deflect full scale! When I removed those drivers and loaded from the website, the rudder is now working correctly!!
Only problem is that the SST software doesn't work!!
Does Anybody know where to download the SST software!
Saitek cliams that it is under the about tab on the control panel properties for the stick, but it isnt there!

2nd Problem!! When I wen to my control panel to view the device manager I noticed that the list was BLANK!! The computer is working fine but I get a empty list when I call up the device manager! I tried the solution which Microsoft has on there troubleshooting page, which refers to going into the services and clicking the plug and play option to automatic, but this didnt change anything!!

For noe I am using the AH stick mapping for the x45 and it works very well but would like to have the full working SST programming!!

the software first installs the drivers then asks if you want "advance" features - you must say yes to this to have the profile software installed

I did go to the site and download the drivers!! The drivers from the site work with the rudder OK!I get a error message saying
Error 13 UpdateDriverForPlugandPlayDev ices

The SST software loads but wont response until I first update the drivers above I guess??

Only problem is that When I go to the windows update site I am getting a Error number: 0x800A0005 message!

I had the empty device manager problem and dealt with it for about 4 months trying to find a solution. The solution for me was a reformat and clean install
