If they ever are I will pray for them and provide any help I can, I won't make light of the threat.

I am leaving in half an hour to go over and help and to make contact with loved ones, good day.

Kindly show me where in this thread I was making jokes about FL. I simply laughed at a post that Funky posted that had to do with a recent article in the news.  I know funked well enough that he meant no harm or hard feelings. He's probably seen plenty of east coasters mentioning "has California fallen off into the sea?" after major earthquakes in his part of the country.

Now, if you need to take your frustrations out on someone, I'd suggest re-directing that energy.  You're wasting it here over nothing but a harmless joke.

Scotter, is everyone okay?  Let us know.
Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain

well finally i get internet access.

pretty scary here in orlando. the eye went straight through downtown.

in the east side where i live we got the brunt of the rotating winds, some tornados touched down, thankfully though they hit forested areas and not the communities (as far as i know).

been without power for 2 days now... the heat got so bad i went over to a hotel that had power (and internet access which is why i can post now hehe).

luckily my house suffered no damage at all, the neighborhood had only a few snapped trees and some folks lost their pool screens.

the biggest problem we have atm is lack of gas and power. it took many of us by surprise when the 'cane did that turn right to orlando... little to no time to make preparations. heck my family got so busy just GETTING all of us away from work, driving home and getting supplies that we forgot to tape the windows and stuff :D

waiting to hear from bohdi, last i know he lived next to the airport...it got nasty there too.
