well the new balancing thing needs soem fixing...

we have people attkn our HQ...and cant up the mighty flee for intercept..

That is defnlty one of my favorite things to do in AH

I was also not availabel to up a tiger when our base was capped....

there was no more then 140 people on...

Please.....

do this

1) let me163s fly when ever our radar is being attaked (liek before the pacth)

2) Turn off the "side balancing " when under ..200 ppl..or somthn like tht

so grab a few buddies and fly cap over your HQ with any of the other adequate planes such as the 190A8 (made for killing buffs) or a mossie... or a 109g10 with gondolas...

having said that, i agree that:

a) perk l=planes should be left out of the eny-limiter equation,

and

b) there needs to be a cutoff of arena numbers before it kicks in - personally i'd aim for 300+ people.

I dont understand why you are not able to defend your HQ?
At worst you couldnt fly La7, P51D, 190D9, ME163, maybe Me262, and perhapes the SpitV.
The 190A8, 190,A5, 109G6, 109G10, P47's These are all very good Buff interceptors.
Heck i see frankhoo of the Bishop take a Spit9 up all the time for HQ raiders and kill mutiple bombers and live to tell about it.
At least im pretty sure its him im thinking of. I will ask him next time.

Once the HQ starts flashing it is often too late to get there for defense in anything other than a 163. Sure you can get there and kill the raider(s) but not until after they've done their damage.

That is why you watch for incomming HQ raids and let your fellow Rooks/Knights/Bishops know about it before the HQ starts flashing.

Last time I spent more than an hour in the MA (I think it was last Thursday) there were NOE raids on rook HQ every 15-30 minutes. We'd notice it flashing but without a 163 very little could be done until the raiders had already dropped. The tip off on a 4 @ 38 NOE raid was that they passed to close to the fuel factory, we knew they aere not after the fuel and met them at the HQ.

But you are right for a conventional buff run or off-map raid. The G10 is an excellent climber and with the 30mm and goldolas will shred a bomber formation.

f this prop plane crap..

I dotn get payed by the hour in AH to fly around a frikn HQ waiting for bomers....

I and most of the people in thsi game want INSTANT ACTION...

I hate alt potatos and runners...

its pretty simple..

So to say.."grab a 109g10 " is waakkkkk

why have HTC do work to create the best performing plane in ww2 ...and not be able to use it..its rediculous

very simple..dont let perk planes get hangered'

maybe you potatos can spend all day flying over HQ ..but that is ghey...i want to kill bomeres then go furball...pretty simple..

and if one set of bombers is going to pork radar F that.....

Im sure this will get fixed..if not ..there will be a loss of revenue

Wait a minute, Shane is being reasonable?

Anyway... The G10 is my favorite bomber interceptor. It can get to 20k in less than 15 minutes, and it accelerates more than fast enough to catch up to a group of any bomber type (except for Ar-234's).

Learn how to fly the damn planes before whining like a wuss, and making yourself look like a moron.

HQ = Radar for whole country is an idea I don't like, but it is what we got. You would think though map designers would would provide HQ with it's own excellent radar and stuff to "flash". That way you could detect incoming attacks in adequate time to up a defense.

109g-10 with the gunpods is the great for geting to the buffs fast in a prop

while the TA152 is good for CAP for the HQ with its long flight time and is on par with the g10 with 2 20mms 1 30mms

on second thought i'm asking myself what were HQ defenders doing before the jets were introduced? Back then, you saw dozens of B-17 in a huge mission with P51 escort making their way to the HQ. Just like the Real Thing.
Yet, the dawning of the Jet Age in AH made those missions pointless. The horror if we'd see them again!

Last Sunday we Bish had numerous raids inbound to not only our HQ but the 2 enemy CV's we were hiding. We had no 163's so they were met by swarms of 109G10s with gondolas

. Result - out of all the raids only 1 partially made it through.

Lesson - watch the map, HQ raids are usually obvious a long way out. Just everyone assumes some else is dealing with it.

NOE - even with 163's these are hard to stop if more than a handfull are on it.
