For the Japanese we will be adding the easy mode fighter for you guys....Yes Virginia the N1k2 will be available for all you wannabe banzai boys to give your life for the Emperor. Also we will be checking fleet allocation to make sure they are still setup appropriately.

Any idea why that map is such a frame rate eating hog? I wonder if its the CV groups. Can't figure it out.

It is the fleets. More than 2 and even high end systems start to bog down.

It has to do with the objects that are placed on fleets at least that is what I have been told. Which increases the numbers of objects that are being rendered compared to the past.

If I remember correctly that was tried at some point in the past with this map and it caused some screwed up things to happen. I will mess with that when I get home tonight but don't want to have that in the initial change that is going to happen today. This map has some really weird issues with the fleets that should cause it to be reworked in the near future.

put some up in the corner on loop and make it so players cant
control them
There were 4 axis fleets near a40 and one allied yesterday
and it made the arena unflyable for me and a few others.

Erm, the N1K2-J is an Axis aircraft.  Unless you somehow thought that the USA was a member of the Axis Powers.

The Allies have the F4U-1 and F4U-1D, both of which are more than capable of handling the N1K2-J.

well, iirc, in the last update, IJN got the A6m2 to counter the F4U-1D (although it's not available at all land bases and cv's as the motd promises).

So how about giving the US a P40B to counter the N1K?

Or, we could just play what we're dealt and try to have fun.

really?  well if you dont have alt on the nik theres no way you can beat it. and....  if you engage the nik and turn more than once theres no way you can get away from its accelleration before it
pokes holes all in you with   900 rounds of cannon.

from a co alt merge a a niki will eat a f4u1 alive

the f4 has about 25 knts speed on a nik but it takes almost 3 times as long to get up to speed

a well flown nik will dominate the arena plane set as it stands now. and a p40?  lolol that wont touch a nik in ANYWAY.

and i got axis and allied mixed up, so what?
