Firstly I admit to liking the new side balancing but there do appear to be many that do not for various reasons.

This is a suggestion that will penalise all on one side with numbers but will punish them equally without restricting what plane they may use.

It is a simple proposal.

The punishment is PERK based and involves using the current system but instead of limiting planes under a certain ENY adds a perk value to those planes.

Wait I hear you say HT has said it wont work !!

Well the twist is that the perk value is a precentage of your currently earned perks.

I.E.
You have 1000perks (fighter)

LA7 costs you 20% of your fighter perks ie 200

You have 10 perks (fighter)

LA7 costs you 20% of your fighter perks ie 2.

This way everyone is penalised equally as you can both take an LA7 up the same number of times. But you also loose the ability to buy normal perk rides if you abuse the availability when you have numbers.

This is to be used in conjunction with the balance equation and ENY the mechanics of which are too much after 4 cans of Stella Artois so far tonight.

IMO, using perks would only promote timidness ... more would be less inclined to fight unless it was absolutely in their favor and once the tables are turned ... run away ... run away ... run away ... worse than they do now.

I agree in some part with you but was trying to give the naysayers something to discuss in a meaningful way as opposed to all the "this is BS" posts.

As I said I like the new system but this may give all those who don't something to think about.
