A matter of perspective...
« on: August 17, 2004, 09:19:22 PM »
Reading all the varying thoughts on the "arena balancing" changes did make me pause to reflect on my last 6 months or so flying...lets say Jan to May 2004. Without doubt the poor kniggits were getting the snot pounded out of us on a regular basis (say 80% of the time). It wasn't uncommon at all for me to log on and find us penned into 4-5 bases for hours (or days at a time). Since I didn't fly bishops or rooks I cant comment on conditions their. Since I didn't fly 24 hours a day (although my wife would argue that) I can't comment on conditions with certainty overall...BUT...the "flavor" of the MA certainly had changed...thats what led me to GV's...I chalked it up to "burn out" but what it really was was "beat up" and I'm not a bad stick (no claims about being a great one either).

It seems like the majority of complaints have come from ROOKS...has the change had a positive effect overall for the other two communities???
