BTW 417th RAAF? never heard of it Is it supposed to be the RAF?

417 Sqn is a RCAF squadron that DsrtRat's uncle flew.  Kev367th actually modeled DsrtRat's uncles Hurricane IIC aswell (213 Sqn).

By the way, it's 457 Sqn and 417 Sqn - RAF don't use the 'th' like American's do.
