Yesterday, someone cut through a major data trunk between here and Victorville.
No long distance calling.
No internet.
No cellphones.
No ATMs.
No credit card transactions.
...and this was throughout the entire city. A few people were a little freaked out... watching the skies for black helicopters and such.
It was just odd... you don't realize how much you rely on this stuff until it's turned off.
