Hmm, I got a theory....
SNORKI is starting going vertical and about to do a hammerhead.
Meanwhile a spitfire (piloted by this Amdahl) is also zooming up in pursuit of SNORKI. Maybe he is about to being roped, maybe he could have made the shot. Who knows.
The development of this situation is spotted by a, at this time, unknown plane and its pilot, who is on same side of SNORKI. He quickly buzz in on the spit shooting wildly (his tracers being seen by SNORKI from the side view), and getting some hits in. Unfortunately for him he is on collision course with the spit and is killed on impact.
The spit may never have noticed this because he suffers from target fixation and just about ready to open fire, but suddenly is ripped out of his boresight at the sound of hits. He tries to evade but it is impossible and he explode (hmm, the attacker must have been a F4UC1).
Collisions are a much faster way of die tho and so the F4 pilot is dead before the spit (who didn't even feel the collsion, but possible got the kill). Instants later the Spit pilot dies close to SNORKI and he is thus awarded a manouver kill. The F4 don't get it as he is dead.
What do you guys say. A possibility?
