"As one soldier in the ad said,"John Kerry gave the enemy for free what I, and many of my comrades in North Vietnam prison camps, took torture to avoid saying  It demoralized us." And it's not going to sit well with the majority of veterans when it becomes widely known that John Kerry secretly met with the communist delegation at the Paris Peace Conference during the Vietnam War, which may have very well violated the Uniform Code of Military Justice and other federal statutes. One more thing: Kerry is honored in the "War Remnants Museum" in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, for his "heroic" contributions to the North Vietnamese victory,"

Does any more need to be said about Kerry.

Not if you want to completely ignore the actual issues facing the US today and the actual platforms of the candidates.

Kerry keeps this distraction going as much as anyone.

Last week Bush started running the ad about Kerry missing 75% of the public votes on the Senate Intelligence Committee.  Kerry says I was there for the private ones, so Roberts says, no problem, have him tell me to open the private roll call.

So then Kerry answers with.............tell those meanie swift boat guys to stop running ads about me.

Of course, he's trying to paint Bush into a delicate corner.  If the swifties stop the ads, he can say, see.....Bush is evil because he controlled them all along..  If they don't, he can say, see.....Bush is evil because he won't control them.

Thrawn is right, this campaign season hasn't begun to touch on relevent issues yet.  As much of a nutcase as Dean was, at least he staked out a position on current topics.

I hope they get this crap out of their collective systems and start taking relevent detailed positions and explaining and defending them.

We're getting screwed by both political parties and candidates.

Write-in here I come.

**Edit--The RNC has even dusted off Dole to get involved in this 30-year old crap.  The DNC has Kerry doing the reporting for duty crap at the convention.  Both parties are failing us.

We all should be demanding more than this from our OWN candidate, period.  Forget about the other guy's candidate.

Both parties are letting their supporters down.
