Gun sounds to try for...
« on: January 20, 2000, 06:06:00 PM »
I Did convert my gun sounds package for Dawn of Aces to Aces High, which I did long time ago and now I wanted to use those in AH.

Mostly these are just low caliber guns, unfortunately..

"I believe that some of you have heard of game called Dawn of Aces..
I came up with the sounds to replace the sounds of DoA, just to get
something more refreshing than those 'patpat' sounds
So... there might be little typos in the readme and elsewhere, but
sounds are somewhat working, though, mostly low caliber sounds except
for those two 20mm files. (sorry, my sources are limited)"

 http://www.mbnet.fi/~fishu/GS.zip

There is install files .bat extension install for each sound, just look at the readme.txt file for better instructions.

Available sounds:

MG-34 (two different)
Maxim
Lewis
M1916A6 / A4
MG-37
20mm
20mm 38/L55
DT1928
Vickers
12.7mm DShK (two different)

Also 4 slightly mixed sounds, for 30mm guns.

Fish come up with a way to chang wep sound. And the badly needed overspeed sound. I am breaking wings off left and right. No warning. BTW. I want to point out that I have never complained about your squeaking online

WEP sound is nothing but just a normal engine sound, with bit more speedy sound
Uses same method as in brand W, I believe..

Overspeed sound?
Try add more volume for that overspeed sound from somewhere in the setup.. (that wind noise... just make it louder)

For the Overspeed sound just record yourself saying,

" YEEEE HAAAAA...Oh Shoot, Whoa baby, Whoaaaa...I SAID WHOA !!"
