9600 S video question
« on: August 23, 2004, 11:25:58 AM »
I vinally got me an 9600, I beleive its the saphire version 128.

My qustion is how to get the S-video to work on a regular TV that has an Svideo input.  I got it hooked up and tried messing with it but the best I could get was a black and white desktop that spins.

any help would be really appreciated.

go to display properties   clic on advanced     now go to the displays tab   clic on the box that enables tv   (i think theres a few more options then screen size ect )   set your tv to aux . now reboot your pc and it should work .

the ati cards set up alot easier then the old nvidia cards do

Thanks Rosco,

Actually I had to download and install the ATI control panel and That did the trick.  Pretty cool....no more converting chitty AVIs to VCD just to burn them and watch them on the big tv  :)
