It looks like a great skin, but if you don't mind I'll make some suggestions to make it look a lot more realistic.

As of now it looks almost arcade-y.  It's clean and theres no weathering/wear anywhere on it.

I'd suggest adding some weathering to it, maybe toning down your panel lines a little bit, and perhaps some color variations*?

*My color variation technique:

Take a brush, about 20 pixels or so wide, and make white and black blotches all over the skin in a NEW layer.  Then, select a gaussian blur.  Blur it to around 27 and click OK.  Next, turn down the opacity of that layer to about 3-5 and see what a difference it makes.

Hey Hammy.

You made a nice template,,,  but ya like some one said /\/\ above,
It looks arcade like. The panel lines.. . . cant be just lines.  they need to look like they are inset,,,  try to go for a photo real look.

I think that MS paint is a POS and not up to par for making realistic Textures  or whatever else.   Look into finding yourself a copy of Photoshop or Painter.

Make sure that you scale up the Texture.,. .  to 1024x1024.
This is the max res for AH2, and then paint at that scale.
but then you have to repaint every thing,,, if you just leave it every thing will become pixely.

All textures that get into AH2 should look like profesionaly made ones,  in my opinion.   Hey after all im paying money to play this game and i want it to look as good as posible.
I dont like the idea,, that anyone with a crayon and "momy said it looks nice",,, should get into the game.

Go to the skindepartment web site and look for good examples there.  I lost my favourits links  so  have to find the link sometime.
Anyway,  Some one did some great skins for the P47s there,, thats what they should look like.

When I get a chance I will post my WIP of a typhoon skin.
maybe it will help.   I re-did every element of the skin at hi-res
probabaly close to 30-40 layes so far per texture.

Example of details...

This is my WIP  for a typhoon Texture.
Not all need to be this beaten up and dirty... but adding colour variation and highlights, and shadows make a huge differece.

So keep painting, , , Its more than just balck panel lines and base camo colours...
Keep up the good work   and good luck.
