Word to the wise,
If you're considering upgrading to this proccessor, DON'T, unless you can find a "retail box" version. I bought an OEM XP3000 and couldn't get it to run at even the minimum rated specs for this cpu.
I could only get 1.9GHz and 194MHz on the fsb, eventhough it's rated at 2.1 and 400 fsb. Even increasing the vcore didn't work.
AMD will not gaurantee any OEM proccessor to work at it's advertised specifications.
Reinstalled my Barton 2500 and currently have it running at 2.1GHz and 200MHz sys.clock.(400 DDR), w/o any problems or vcore increase. Stable as can be and only reaches 44 C under full load.
Save yourself some money and overclock the hell out of your Barton 2500!! It can take it.
