Why would anyone make their pet chew on any electrical cable/device?  

Ok.... Must something with pets and the freq of the USB cable...  Otherwise the analogs woulda been ett a long time ago.  Must look into this.

Lol, Odee... It's the texture of the insulator, I'm convinced of it. USB cables are really rubbery and soft (al dente) and distinctly nutty, where other cables are a harder plastic and bitter with a lingering aftertaste.

So far I've lost 3 Plantronics headsets, 1 CH fighterstick, and 1 CH Pedals. I've started spraying all exposed cables with Lysol, hoping that will cure him of the habit... maybe I'll try some tabasco.

There's a product specificaly designed to prevent pets from chewing things...  It's safe, non-toxic, and comes in a variety of scents.... Apple being the predominant one.  Sold at Pet-Smart, and othe pet type shops...

DUX saves cables.......Try Habanero pepper.I gaurentee that cat wont EVER tonch anything again.Not even its food.My Collie tends to run under the computer desk in thenderstorms.She drags all kinds of cable around.Damn those oets.
