i have tried both mitsu's and waffles's and both are great.

for somereason, with RAF planes, waffles is alot more clear on my system, so i use his manely.

on both packs i love the bass on the engines when you crank the sound up! :aok

i have not tried Fruda's yet although i would like to try it if found a download.
And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.

I've posted the URL many, many times, yet few people care to post in my topics.

The speed is quite good. And don't forget to download the updates.

I've just acquired some actual Spitfire sounds. They aren't extremely different from the ones my pack alreay has, but it's always the little bit of difference that counts.

I'm flight testing the new sounds right after I post this.

I used Mitsu's pack for a couple of years, and it was very good. I am enjoying Waffle's soundpack now. I love the P38 supercharger sounds, the ACK BOOM from the big guns at ports, and the overall ambient noises. I heard a P38 go over my head last night- he was at speed and level 3K above me or so- I heard the supercharger whine. Little details like that add to the experience for me.

Given that Waffle is a sound engineer by trade and also a teammate of mine, I was more apt to try his pack, but we have teammates who do not use it. It's OK- try em all and pick your favorite- nothing says I won't try Fruda's or Mitsu's new work in the future just to compare.

If you like real engine sounds... You'll love my upcoming pack.

No single plane has a fake engine sound. From 109's to Tempests, everything is true to life.

You can expect the pack in about another week or so.

Have d/l'd most of the different sound packs.  As for Fruda, I went to your site and I see 6 patches and a sound fix along with a main file. Do people have to d/l all this or does the main file have the patches and fix in it already?

I prefer Waffle's soundpack.  Although, I've removed all the annoying check 6's and TV-show sound bytes.  The wind noise had to be lowered in-game, too.

Hey, Waffle -

I noticed that the Lancaster sounds like a warped record when cruising at max power.  Thought maybe you could adjust that at some point.

CHONDO --- You have to download the main pack and all the updates, plus the miscellaneous fix file.

You can DL that stuff to see what my old work was like... However, I'll be releasing v2.0 soon, and it will completely blow v1.0 (plus updates) out of the water.

Here's something that's a drastic improvement over v1.0 --- Prop wash effects. It sounds incredible, and it really enhances fly-by's.
