I actually cant stand the taste of tonic water, but I do like capt w/ seven or sprite.

This has to be one of the best liqures for the rpice.....14$ for a liter here

I have never been able to aquire a taste for the spiced rums, regardless of brand. It's not that they taste bad, I just don't personaly care for it.

Being a rummy myself I have enjoyed Castillo Gold for several years now. At $7 a liter it's cheap enough and tastes very much like Bacardi. I am told it is actually bottled by Bacardi as a lower priced brand.

Now I generaly drink rum with coke. It may be if I tried the spiced rum with something like 7-Up it may taste good to me. I will have to try that some day...

I'm guessing pina coladas because they get to use the little umbrellas.

Cheers to you too Gunslinger :)

My dad has _never_ spanked me or raised his voice. He just gives me the look and you know you have messed up. If he is really mad he just leaves the room. He is the calmest person i have ever met.... whatever the situation.

I remeber when he was going to work one day and our car was stolen. He just went back in the house, said "the car is gone" and called a cab.

If you like rum try a bottle of Pampero.  It is Venezuelan.  Not flavored not expensive and it is a very smooth sipping rum which needs nothing.  No ice, no Coca-Cola.  It's GREEEEEEAT!

I always hated tonic water also, but the rum really gets rid of any of the bitterness of it. It is very similar to drinking it with seven or sprite but with none of the citrus taste.
