One of the things that's always bothered me about being one of the few, is how we keep getting....... fewer.

Hi Guys

I been around here since 2000.  From Warbirds.  I am a very old Army Airplane Driver Late 1950's until mid 1960s.  Flew until I hit 78 then retired from flying.  Been retired from business since 1998.  At age 88 I would guess I might be close to the oldest on here.

I just got a new CH controllers, Fighterstick, Throttle and Pedals.  Having a rather tough time with CM getting them set up.

Anyway, cheers to you guys.  Any 249RAF still around?

Cheers

Welcome back!

Have you tried to program your devices directly in AH without CM?

Hey, I was curious if anyone here is an old hand from the AirWarrior-AirWarrior 3D days? I was hoping someone with a sense of nostalgia would revive AW3 some day, but I don't think it will happen. I would like to get in touch with some people from the old days if there are any in here and possibly start flying again. So if you used to play AW3 please reply and let me know your old AW cpid and squadron.

Thanks

Yes, Air Warrior II and III from 1997 - 1999, dialup internet on a 15" CRT monitor.  I was like 13 years old.  My friends dad got me onto Gamestorm, he flew in Full Realism Arena for JG26 I believe.  Flew and spoke on the mic with lots of vietnam and World War II pilots.  Great times.  One real life B-17 pilot with the last name Kauffman even sent me a book he published for free called "Three Little Trees."  Loved the graphic art and user interface, loved the player nbumbers, was so excited every day to get home from school and jump on AW.  Checked the killboard then checked to see where the BZ's were at.
