just sitting here tonight thinkin'...it'd be nice if HTC brought the Deathstar back to us combat simmers.  HT flew in AW.  He must've enjoyed at least a few B-17 sorties with his squadmates - shootin' down enema like fish in a barrel.  Fun times...please bring the Deathstar back, HT.  :D :)

YES!  Plumbit is a BULLY :)

Plumbit :)
It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.

You say that as though the guns converge on the fighter.

Bomber guns from the same bomber do not converge and never have.  They parallel each other.

Bomber guns from the aircraft in a formation converged at 1000 yards prior to vv2.00p8.  After v2.00p8 was released they converge at 500 yards.  This means that if you are at <400 yards or >600 yards you will only get hit by one bomber's guns.  The other two must miss.

Bomber lethality relied to a great extent on the AH1 hit detection method.  The AH2 refined hit detection has largely pulled bomber's defensive teeth.

Karnak is Right......wait a sec let me get my teeth.........ok now thats better............

Obviously the bomber gunnery has changed in AHII, much to my dismay :(  .   However, this will not deter me from once again pursuing excellence in gunning.......so I have to let you get a little bit closer for a while.  As JB42 once said, "you are a gamer and have mastered the gaming" as I shot him down in his 190 again......... JB42!

To be serious though.........It took quite some time to learn the B26 only because I sucked at everything I did in AHI when I first started. Went from GV's to PT's to my final love..B26's......I have died more than I have killed in them, but I do have one heck of a blast when I am attacked by multiples!
Since AHII has changed not only the gunnery in the bombers, but the visibility, the damage model, and a few other items related, the B26 has, for me, become a challenge to try and master once again..............Not that I was a Master before, but none the less, I pursue excellence...........and thanks goes to all those who have tried and died in my behalf:D     Special mention to those who have mastered me in their fighters in Air to Air

I used to love deathstars. We would load one up and head over to fightertown and have a lot of fun. I remember one time we hovered over an aircraft carrier and vulched anyone that came up. I remember that 6guns was one of the vulchees that we killed a few times. It's always fun killing 6guns no matter how it's done, lol.
